A parasite lives in a close relationship with another organism, its host, and causes it harm.  The parasite is dependent on its host for its life functions.  For example, viruses are common parasites.  The parasite has to be in its host to live, grow, and multiply. Parasites rarely kill their hosts.

Parasites take on a number of different forms while thriving throughout the body. They most often live within the human intestines therefore; its important to take action and cleanse your system of parasites naturally. The most common form of parasite is the Helminth worm. This includes the well-known hookworms which targets humans and their pets. Hookworms attach themselves in the lining of the small intestine, and cause diseases and malnutrition as well, as they eat the nutrients and keep them from going to the host. More common parasites is the tapeworms, pinworms, threadworms, roundworms and others. Many individuals doing a parasite cleanse will see the worms in their stools as they are eliminated from the body.7lovejohnson-hookworm

The body’s immune system goes after the parasites once they are identified. Often times, the parasites are extremely strong and multiply too quickly for the immune system to keep them at bay. Some of the most common symptoms associated with intestinal parasites include diarrhea, gas, bloating, flu-like symptoms, nausea, rashes, joint pain, chronic fatigue and chronic sinusitis.

Lice are tiny insects that live on our hair and feed on our blood. Different species of lice live on the head, body and pubic region. Pubic lice are commonly called crabs. Pediculosis is the term for lice infestation of the scalp or body, and phthiriasis describes a pubic infestation. Lice cause intense itching and are highly contagious. They spread by close personal contact; they do not hop or fly. Lice eggs are called nits and appear as tiny white specs adhering to the hair.

Mites Itch mites are tiny parasites that burrow into the upper layers of the skin to feed, causing intense itching and a rash. Scabies is the medical term for an itch mite infestation. Scabies infestations typically occur in areas of the body with skin folds, such as between the fingers, in the bends of the knees and elbows, the armpits, the waist, the buttocks and near the genitals. Scabies is highly contagious; the mites are spread by close personal contact.

Pinworms are the most common type of parasitic worm infection in the United States. These are small, white roundworms, roughly half an inch long; they are sometimes called threadworms. Pinworms live in the rectum and colon. At night, when the host is asleep, female pinworms crawl out and deposit eggs on the skin around the anus. This causes intense itching. Pinworms are spread by ingesting the eggs. Pinworms commonly affect young children because this age group can lack good hygiene skills.

Giardia intestinalis is a single-celled parasite that lives in the human intestine. It also lives in the intestines of other animals, including dogs, cats, cattle and deer. Giardiasis is the second-most common parasitic infection in the United States. Symptoms of Giardia infection include diarrhea, flatulence (passing gas), greasy bowel movements, abdominal cramps and stomach upset. Giardia is spread by ingesting the organism. Food, water or surfaces contaminated with Giardia-infected feces are common sources of infection.
Cryptosporidium is a single-celled, waterborne parasite that lives in the small intestine of humans, cattle and other animals. Cryptosporidium–commonly called crypto–typically causes watery diarrhea within one week of infection. Other symptoms include nausea, vomiting, stomach pain, fever, dehydration and weight loss. People with a compromised immune system due to HIV, medications, organ transplants or cancer are at high risk of becoming seriously ill with crypto. Crypto is one of the most common causes of waterborne disease in the United States. It is a particularly hardy organism, which may survive despite chlorine treatment used by public water treatment systems.
Trichomonas is a sexually transmitted parasitic infection. The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention states that more than 8 million new cases occur each year in the United States. Trichomonas–commonly known as trich–is a single-celled parasite called a protozoan. In men, trich lives in the urethra, the passageway for urine and semen. The infection typically causes no symptoms in men. Most women, however, are symptomatic with vaginal itching, foul-smelling vaginal discharge and urinary urgency. Trich lives in the vagina and may migrate to the cervix and uterus if the infection is not treated promptly.

Parasite infections can cause a variety of symptoms depending on the actual type of parasite. Roundworms, tapeworms and flukes are all specific types of parasites that invade the body usually through a break in the skin or the ingestion of contaminated or undercooked meats and fish. A parasite infection can lead to symptoms such as abdominal pain, gastrointestinal irritation and
weight loss. Stomach Parasites- which are often called intestinal parasites, are organisms that live in the digestive tract of humans, feeding off human tissue. Most of the human stomach parasites are either single celled organisms called protozoa or multi-cellular worms known as helminths, explains the United States Department of Agriculture. Thes
e organisms often reproduce inside humans or other animals, and their offspring are commonly passed out of the body through feces. The offspring infect other humans when the feces contaminates food or drinking…
Abdominal Pain- When a parasite enters the body they tend to migrate to different organs because of the proximity to nutrition. According to Carl Zimmer, author of the book “Parasite Rex: Inside the Bizarre World of Nature’s Most Dangerous Creatures,” when a parasite settles near the abdominal region many times it chooses to burrow through soft tissue to get to its destination causing damage that triggers pain receptors in the surrounding areas. Most parasites like tapeworms start out as tiny eggs ingested by human beings. Then they use the food they hide in to hitch a free ride down to the intestinal tract, where they use the nutrients that humans eat to grow and eventually lay eggs in the area they settle on. When these eggs hatch the pain in the abdominal region can cause mild to extreme discomfort.
Gastrointestinal Irritation- Another symptom commonly associated with parasites is gastrointestinal irritation. Many parasitic worms that live in the intestinal tract feed of the nutrients humans ingest and rely heavily on these nutrients for survival. Carl Zimmer reports that some parasites extract enzymes that help with human digestion straight out of the food we eat. Without these enzymes normal digestion can be compromised leading to gastrointestinal irritation. The Mayo Clinic, says that symptoms of a giardia infection can include abdominal cramps, bloating, nausea and watery diarrhea.
Unexplained Weight Loss- Unexplained weight loss or the inability to gain weight can be another sign of a parasite infection. Tapeworms are generally known to feed off of much of the food humans consume. According to an article on tapeworms by the Mayo Clinic, a tapeworm infection usually results from eating foods contaminated with tapeworm eggs or larvae. Tapeworms can settle outside your intestines and form cysts in body tissues and organs. This is known as an invasive tapeworm infection. If you ingest tapeworm larvae, however, they develop into adult tapeworms in the intestines. This is known as an intestinal tapeworm infection. Tapeworms can cause nutritional deficiencies because they “steal” nutrients from food and can cause loss of appetite. These two types of infections can lead to weight loss or the inability to gain weight.
Itching- A pinworm infection, which is common in school-age children, can cause severe itching around the anus, especially at night, according to the National Institutes of Health. In girls, itching and irritation around the vaginal area are also possible.
Respiratory Problems- In rare cases, an Ascaris infection causes coughing and breathing difficulties. These symptoms develop when small, immature worms are able to work their way through the body to the lungs, according to the CDC. In some cases, the worms can be coughed up and expelled.
Presence of Worms in Stool- Another sign of intestinal parasites is the presence of worms in the stool. Because the parasites are living in the colon, they are passed from the body via the stool. Depending on the size of the worm, many people may not notice worms in the stool.

7lovejohnson-tape-wormParasites love sugar and everything that turns into sugar. So the best way to starve the parasites is through using healthy fasting and cleansing strategies while eliminating as much sugar and grains as possible from the diet.Several herbs and foods act as very strong anti-parasitic agents. Extra virgin coconut oil is loaded with medium chain triglycerides that enhance the immune system in its battle against pathogens. Raw garlic and onions provide sulfur containing amino acids that are anti-parasitic. Eat six tablespoons of raw, extra virgin coconut oil, one whole clove of garlic and one large red onion daily to help parasite proof your body.Dried oregano and especially essential oil of oregano are extremely volatile and anti-parasitic. Use two to three drops of oregano oil in water with fresh squeezed lemon and drink this three times a day. Clove works just as well so you could also substitute or use clove oil with oregano oil. Ginger, wormwood, black walnut are also commonly used in anti-parasitic strategies.Fasting with fermented drinks such as fermented whey from grass-fed cows and fermented ginger, kombucha, coconut kefir, apple cider vinegar, etc. are powerful tools to help destroy parasites. Many holistic health coaches recommend a three to 21 day low calorie, liquid diet that is rich in fermented beverages, water and fresh squeezed lemon. Probiotic supplements are highly recommended to help destroy parasites and re-inoculate the gut. After the cleansing period, it is especially important to utilize high quality, fermented raw dairy and vegetables. Raw, grass-fed fermented dairy products like amasai, cheese and kimchi, sauerkraut, and fermented veggies should be used abundantly. These foods are rich sources of L-glutamine, an amino acid that helps rebuild the gut. These fermented foods also contain very powerful strains of good bacteria, organic acids and enzymes that act to keep parasites out of the body.

Parasites can be found in nearly 50% of the American population.  These parasites make their way into our bodies through unclean water, shellfish, pork products and other forms of contaminated food.  The most common internal parasites that humans are commonly dealing with include tapeworms, Candida – yeast, and pathogenic bacteria.7lovejohnson-parasite-cleans

Candida Albicans is a fungal yeast that occurs naturally in the human body. It naturally lives in harmony with a variety of other microorganisms and actually performs some important functions. The problem occurs when certain lifestyle based environmental conditions upset the balance of microflora in the body. This allows the yeast to proliferate and dominate certain regions of the body. Here are strategies to take to conquer Candida and destroy parasites in your body.

1.      Follow the Advanced Nutrition Plan:  Utilize the Cellular Healing Diet by avoiding grains/sugars/fruit and loading up on good fats, proteins, and non-starchy vegetables.

2.      Load up on Probiotics:  Good gut bacteria will compete with the fungal infection for nutrition and space inside the body.  Probiotics naturally secrete anti-fungal factors that destroy and inhibit Candida.  I recommend over 100 billion organisms daily.

3.      Use Raw Garlic:  One of the world’s most powerful anti-fungals.   Garlic contains many different substances with anti-bacterial and anti-fungal properties, including allicin, alliin, alliinase and S-allylcysteine.   Due to the variety of substances, Candida will not develop a resistance to it like it does with many pharmaceutical drugs.   Chop garlic up and add it to food or use garlic capsules.

4.      Use Coconut Oil:  The medium chain saturated fat within coconut oil has incredible anti-fungal factors that d

estroy Candida.  The major fighters include caprylic, mystic, and lauric acid.  Eat 3 Tbsp of coconut oil daily and put this oil on your skin.

5.      Oregano Oil:  One of the most powerful anti-oxidants and anti-fungals.  Use 3 drops in a glass of water 2-3x daily.

6.      Super Greens Powder:  High chlorophyll foods help to alkalize, cleanse, and purify the body.  The alkalizing affect will naturally destroy Candida.  Take 2-3 Tbsp of supergreens in water daily for best results.

7.      Colloidal Silver:  Silver denatures the enzyme involved with supplying oxygen to the microorganism.  This is powerful against bacteria, virus, and fungal infections.  Take 3 Tbsp of pure silver daily for 6 weeks to help kill of Candida.

8.      Apple Cider Vinegar:  This powerful vinegar is high in alkaline buffering minerals to help naturally alkalize.  It is also a great anti-septic that destroys infections on contact.  Put this on acne, fungal infections, hair (for dry skin/dandruff), and skin (excema).  Use it on food or dilute it with a Tbsp in a glass of water for alkalizing effects.

9.      Use Cloves:  Cloves have more anti-oxidants than anything else per volume.  They are also potent anti-fungals.  Use clove oil on fungal outbreaks on skin or take it orally.  Try 3 drops of clove oil in a glass of water, 2-3x day.

10.    Use Ginger:  Ginger is loaded with anti-oxidants and volatile oils that powerfully combat invading organisms.  Drink ginger tea throughout the day and put fresh or dried ginger in foods & shakes.    You can also use foods that are lacto-fermented with a ginger base.

11.      Maximize Your Nervous System:  Take great care of your body’s internal healing system.  Any sort of spinal stress and dysfunction damages the nervous system and interferes with the body’s natural healing abilities.  Be sure to keep good posture, maintain core strength, and seek out regular chiropractic adjustments.  Adjustments have been shown to increase immune function by over 200%, allowing the body to naturally rid itself of invading organisms.

12.      Keep Stress Levels Down:  High mental/emotional stress increases the release of the hormone cortisol.  High levels of cortisol suppress the immune system, allowing opportunistic infections to take hold.  Start your day with powerful anchors that empower you to be calm and collective under stress.  Minimize stressful interactions and take a break in your day to reengage yourself with positive affirmations, thoughts, & visions.

13.    Optimize Your Rest:  Your immune system does the majority of its best work at night while you are sleeping.  Be sure to get at least 7-8 hours of sleep each night and take a 10-15 minute powernap in the middle of the day to keep your immune system elevated.

14.     Exercise Daily:   Regular exercise helps to oxygenate the body more effectively.  It also revs up the immune system.  The most advanced form of exercise is high-intensity bursts that last a total of 5-15 minutes.  Try warming up for 5 mins and then sprinting for 30s followed by a 30s walk for 5-10 minutes.

15.    Colon Cleanse:  Try to completely cleanse your colon and liver with a 3-day vegetable juice fast that incorporates milk thistle, ginger, turmeric, oregano, garlic, lemon, and other powerful herbs.  Drink lots of water with lemon during this cleanse.

EXTRA EXTRA>>> Homeopathic remedies and Herbal medicines may stop the spread of parasites causing Chagas disease – the new AIDS of the Americas.

(via-NaturalNews) The latest health horror known as Chagas disease, or the AIDS of the Americas has appeared in both Latin and Central America, infecting over 8 million individuals. Those individuals affected seem to have certain traits in common with early AIDS patients in that many live in poverty with little access to health care treatment.

The disease is transmitted to humans through bites from blood-sucking insects bearing a parasite that is deposited under the skin. Known as the “kissing bug” it prefers to bite its victims in the face during sleep, leaving an itchy red welt. The early stages are characterized by swelling of one eye, fever, and swollen red area at the site of the bite. Upon awakening, when the individual scratches the welt it releases the parasite into the blood stream, wrecking havoc with the immune system. The long term health problems developing from kissing bug bites involve enlarged hearts or intestines which can burst and fail suddenly causing immediate death. Treatment takes months, is rarely effective and the medicines are highly toxic.

Several homeopathic remedies and herbs may help stop the spread of parasites causing this disease before it gets deeply imbedded in the system — if it’s caught it time.

Homeopathic remedies

Ledum is a widely known treatment for the stings of venomous insects. It neutralizes venom and speeds recovery from poisoning. It’s appropriate for any insect bite, especially those that produce severe itching and coldness at the site of the bite. The skin may be bluish or purple, feel cold to the touch and look bruised. Take a dose of Ledum as soon as you realize you’ve been stung. There may be arthritic joint aches and pains accompanying the early stages after being bitten.

Apis is a useful remedy for insect bites that produce red, hot, swollen welts that itch mercilessly and sting or burn. The swollen area appears filled with fluid and itching is relieved by cold applications.

Tarentula Cubensis is called for in cases where sepsis sets in after being bitten by a venomous insect. There may be red or purple boils oozing with pus. Tremendous burning pains are present throughout the body with systemic swelling of various organs. Patients may have the peculiar symptom restless legs during attacks. Chills, fever, gangrenous flesh are present.

Anthracinum is useful in cases where the site of the bite becomes septic and infected . Terrible burning pains at the site of the bite, where tissues are swollen and ulcerated. The infection moves rapidly through the skin into underlying tissue.

Urtica Urens is used in cases where there are large, red, swollen hives and terrible itching. It’s often associated with allergic reactions, which can be produced by stinging insects. Rheumatic pains may be present in the joints as well as nerve pains throughout the body after being bitten by a kissing bug.
